佛陀淨宗學會 Amitabha Educational Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that seeks to propagate the Buddhist teaching of what goes around comes around, which enables every one of us to attain wisdom, happiness, and longevity in order to benefit all living beings.
- We provide free Buddhist learning materials and items such as books, DVDs, CDs, and chanting machines in different languages (Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Vietnamese). We ship for free, or can deliver to most addresses on Oahu, Hawaii. To request such free items, please complete the form on our Request Free Materials page.
- We have an Electronic Resources page with links to online video content, eBooks, downloadable lectures (sound files), desktop images, printable bookmarks, and websites for other similar Buddhist societies.
- We have four (4) television programs that broadcast on Olelo community television, a local public access television station based in Oahu, Hawaii. For the 2022 calendar year, our programs listed below will air on Olelo channel 55 every Monday at the following times:
- Amitabha Special, 4 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time [Mandarin / 華語]
- Amituofo Multiculture, 5 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time [English / 英語]
- Buddha Sutra, 6 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time [Cantonese / 粵語]
